The Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization that supports Vinson Hall Retirement Community raising funds for three purposes:
Resident Assistance Fund
Our confidential Resident Assistance fund supports residents in our community who, through no fault of their own, have depleted their assets. With the Navy Marine Coast Guard Residence Foundation's (NMCGRF) support, a Vinson Hall Retirement Community resident is never asked to leave because of an inability to pay.
Research and Technology
In addition to offering a broad range of state-of-the-art amenities, activities, and services to its residents, NMCGRF is instrumental in bringnig together many of the nation's experts on aging and healthcare to showcase the ways in which innovative practices and new technology can benefit today's seniors.
Wounded Warrior Transitional Housing
Wounded Warrior Transitional Housing at Vinson Hall provides housing for wounded, ill or injured veterans who have been discharged from inpatient treatment and are ready to transition to the next chapter of their life. Since opening in September 2013, 7 wounded warriors have joined the NMCGRF family
