Opened in 1991 and recently remodeled, Arleigh Burke features an atrium dining room, café, spa, fireplace library with Internet terminal, 20 seat home theater, beauty/barber shop, and wheelchair accessible patio and walking paths. Our Life Enrichment program ensures our residents have plenty of engaging activities to choose from on a daily basis. Residents and their family members can enjoy peace-of-mind in knowing that licensed and certified direct care nursing staff are on-site 24-hours a day, and that campus-wide security patrols round-the-clock.
The daily rate includes medication management, housekeeping and linen service, as well as basic cable television. On-site physical, occupational and speech therapy services which may be billable through Medicare B are offered, and residents may choose to use our on-site geriatrician as their primary care physician.
Family members and friends are welcome and encouraged to join residents for meals.Our atrium dining room and galley (with self-serve snacks) offers a wonderful dining experience, as well as an entertainment venue for all Arleigh Burke residents. Optional entrée selections are available at every meal, offering a wide variety of dining choices. Menus are prepared by our food service manager with the supervision of a registered dietician, and special diets can easily be accommodated at no extra cost to residents. Meals are nutritious, attractive and appetizing.
Spiritual Care is an integral component of the Vinson Hall tradition of holistic care provided for residents of all faith traditions. A genuine respect for ALL faith traditions is upheld here and religious services are offered to meet the worship needs of all residents at the Vinson Hall Chapel and throughout the community. Our Director of Ministerial Services offers on-site spiritual counseling for residents, family members and staff, and regularly provides visitation in residences, as well as hospitals and other care settings to address spiritual and religious needs of residents who are ill or convalescing or in rehabilitation programs.
