| Application Process |
Start with a phone call to receive further information or to schedule a personal tour. This is a great opportunity to ask any questions you may have and to determine whether you meet requirements for residency. The next step is to complete an application for admission and to submit a deposit equal to 10% of the non-refundable entry fee for the type of apartment in which you are interested. Once you have been accepted by the admissions committee, your name is placed on the waiting list. You will be notified when an apartment of the type you requested becomes available. Your priority on the waiting list will be based on your deposit date and you always have the right to decline an apartment.

Eligibility: Vinson Hall was established in 1969 by Navy Marine Coast Guard Residence Foundation as a not-for-profit retirement community. For officers and their close family members of the:
- Navy
- Marine Corps
- Coast Guard
- Army
- Air Force
- Public Health Service and
- National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration
Residency is also open to widowed spouses, parents or children of the above retired or active officers, and other non-affiliated individuals on a case-by-case basis. |
